The Wind-up Bird Chronicle by Haruki Marukami
Just finished reading this 600 page long book & it's nothing at all like I've ever read before.
A real mixture of reality & the surreal, the line separating them being unclear. Kinda slow paced & not the most logical plot but i guess it is meant to be that way. All in all, I enjoyed it. Pretty absorbing book

sometimes there're so many things that i want to say or let out...
it all comes rushing up the throat & disappears the moment i open my mouth.
believing that you are that much stronger for keeping things to yourself doesn't really make you feel any better.
& not just that, i dont think it's that easy to find a person who is willing or interested in the slightest bit in listening to you crap.
its like a dam that threatens to burst yet it always holds firm.
on somedays i forget that it's even there...
on other's, it just weighs me down.
wouldn't it be great to return to past innocence/ignorance?Labels: suffocate
